WHY WE NEED YOUR FINANCIAL SUPPORT
On Wednesday, October 17, 2012, the PTO sent home packets for our annual fundraiser – The Coyote Run. Simply put, the $20,000 we need to raise is necessary to help us meet our basic expenses for the school year. Budget cuts for programming and supplies (made in an effort to help maintain staffing) over the last few years makes $20,000 a true need not simply a lofty goal. The money we bring in during this fundraiser will cover basics like printer cartridges for students, art supplies, science projects, music equipment, books, speakers, field trips, Outdoor School needs and other programming that directly benefits your children and our community. We recognize that asking each family to make a contribution of $50 is a tall order. We have a tall order to fill and we certainly appreciate your support.

Many of you are familiar with eScrip. Participating merchants contribute each time your families make a purchase using grocery club cards (Safeway) or other registered cards at Market of Choice and Zupans.

Rosemont Ridge is up to 106 registered families and earned $1545 this past year. Lets see if we can beat that amount. Box Tops for Education
Box Tops for Education is a school fundraising program sponsored by General Mills. Since its inception in 1996, the program has helped schools raise over $320 million to buy things needed for schools around the 
country. Students can bring their tops in as often as they like and we have a way to collect them in the classroom. We ask that you make an attempt at trimming them neatly. We will routinely reward top CREW classes that bring in huge collections. Parents you can also take a look at boxtops4education.com and find several other ways to help Rosemont Ridge.
Scrip Card Sales
The SCRIP gift card purchases are typically confused with our E-Scrip program. The SCRIP card program is an easy-to-use system of gift cards purchased from companies that many of us use on a regular basis. By purchasing your gift cards through the SCRIP program, Rosemont Ridge will earn between 3% and 43% of the value of each card purchased. Vendors include grocery stores, restaurants, movies, major retailers, and home improvement stores. Click here for your order form. Please print a copy, fill it out and place your order by leaving your filled out form and check in the front office drop box.
You have a choice of having the gift cards delivered home via your student or picking them up through the office or with the coordinator. Please think about this as you place your order and what will work best for your family.
