$10 per person (A family of 4 can purchase 4 tickets for a total of $35) Age 5 and under is free: No presale tickets, all tickets purchased at the door
Parents, if you plan on dropping your kiddos off at the event, please discuss with them respectful behavior. They are expected to remain quiet and not preoccupied with phones or conversations during the performances. The singers are incredibly brave to get up there and perform, and we want to create a supportive environment for them smile emoticon
See you at the show!!
But we need your help! We need a few parents to volunteer to co-coordinate this event. This would require setting up, managing the shift volunteers, and closing out the finances at the end of each day.
Training and guidance to be provided by our amazing library staff and prior volunteers. Please email email@example.com if you can assist. THANK YOU!!
8th Grade Career Day and Real Life Fair
February 4th from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm
The count down for the 8th Grade Career Day and Real Life Fair is on and we are looking for a few more volunteers! Many parents shy away from this event because they think that they need a slick presentation or because they have been out of the work force for a while. Please don’t let this stop you from volunteering! We need bodies for the Real Life Fair – this is the area of the program where the kids try to balance a budget – “Do I have enough money to buy a house or should I rent for a while? How much money do I spend on clothes? Will I have enough money to eat this month?” Let’s face it, we can all remember when all we had to eat was mac and cheese for an entire month. We also need help with setup and with conducting mock interviews.
Pease click here to volunteer. The top portion of the document is to volunteer for the Career Fair portion of the program. The bottom portion is to volunteer for the Real Life portion of the program, set up, and interviews. Come join us and hang out with the kids! It is really alot of fun to watch them in action!
We are also looking to recruit a few parents of 6th and 7th graders – your time is coming!
If you have any trouble signing up, please just reply to this e-mail.
The 8th Grade Teachers and your RRMS PTO
The Monster Mash was a huge success with lots of smiling and laughing kids. The PTO would like to thank all of you who helped us make it happen. Whether you donated candy or supplies, helped set up or helped clean up, we appreciate it so much!
And a big thank you to Inge Barbee who spear-headed the event and worked very hard to make it the Graveyard Smash that it was.
