Who will take home the prize as the singing stars of Rosemont battle to win Rosemont Idol? Come see! Rosemont Idol is our school’s version of American Idol. Auditions were held, and although it was tough, the  contestants were narrowed down to 21 gifted singers. As in years past, the showcase of talent is amazing. It’s definitely a do-not-miss event.

Rosemont Idol is a fundraiser for the music department. It helps provide scholarships for field trips, buy music (our textbooks!), and provide performance opportunities, like festivals, for our music students.

PTO MEETING - PARENT EDUCATION NIGHT Rescheduled to Tuesday, March 20^th at 6:30pm in the Library. Please come and join us.Debi Briggs-Crispin and Kurt Schultz will be giving us a curriculum update and discussing the work that the school and district have been doing in the various content areas at Rosemont Ridge.

We want to know.Showcase your Career/Job/Field of Expertise at our 8th Grade Career Day on April 20th, 2012, from 9:15 am to 12:00 pm ”Presenters” will be set up around the gym floor at provided tables and students will come to you with questions regarding your chosen field of expertise. Contact treasurer@rosemontridgepto.com or president@rosemontridgepto.com to sign up to be a presenter or to help in the Real Fair Area on the day of the event.

ROSEMONT IDOL is right around the corner. Rosemont Idol helps to secure funds for music supplies in all music areas as well as to help students earn money toward the 8th Grade Band and Nuance overnight trip to Seattle in June. Please come and support us on Friday, April 6th at 7p.m-9:30pm . for this year’s Rosemont Idol. Tickets are $7 per person or $15 for a family of 4.  It’s sure to be a great evening of entertainment!
